Going Home

Everybody is going home.

                                                           Linda and Tim went home

Joyce and Richard went home

                                                      Joyce and Gerry went home

Jodie went home

Hell we will be heading north in 2 weeks

These guys are still here

We've eaten some really weird food.

I'd tell you what these are but I don't remember.It was late and we were in a bar.

The only thing I remember about this is that it hurt like hell

Been pretty quiet

Got together with the Gruenwalds a couple of times.Enjoying having them around.


We have also been playing poker 3 days a week.

Got new boots and wheels for the Jeep

New Stereo too

          Thursday night again and Peg and I played poker.Chris didn't make it as he had other plans

I got third in the 5pm game and won the 8pm game so there!

What a country!

It was touch and go but I made it.

Still alive and kicking.

So I haven't been posting.

Joyce and Gerry arrived from the frozen north and so did Joyce and Richard.No Joyce does not have 2 husbands,there are 2 Joyce's

We went for lunch with Joyce and Gerry one day.then another day we had plans with Joyce and Gerry but Gerry got sick and we just had breakfast with Joyce.

Then we met with Joyce and Richard and 5 of their friends at the Marina here in La Cruz.Then it was off to Ana Banana's(10 of us) for ribs.There was a band playing and there ended up being about 18 or 20.

Only got a couple of pictures

And nobody sent me any so that's it.

We went for lunch again with Gerry and Joyce and maybe I will remember to bring the camera some day and get some pictures.

Other than that we have just been playing poker,hanging around the pool,eating and of course having the odd "pop"

Another day in Paradise

So we had to make one more trip to Costco

                      After we got home we decided to hit Ososo"s before going out to dinner

Ososo's is by the docks and someone had caught a shark

WOW!

That made for some excitement!

Then it was off to Falconi's for dinner

They had some great live entertainment

(Of course live entertainment is much better than dead entertainment)

Of course entertainment does come in different packages

Yes it does

Other things seem to happen to change people down here????

The worst of it all is I woke up this morning with a cold and it isn't one of those wimpy women colds it's a MAN COLD

Apparently Peggy does not agree

Rod won at poker again

So we put him on the next plane back to Texas

Now maybe we have a chance.

Peggy  had another birthday and no I did not send these JC did!

So for her birthday a bunch of us went out to dinner at The Blackforest 

It was some kind of German Beerfest thing

So they had a special menu.

The food was excellent

I of course had to do my "Linda" impression

Then out of the blue Tim showed up.He had been working in the far north and we did not expect to see him this year but here he is just in time for Peg's birthday.

Great surprise

I know it looks like dessert but it's a special coffee for the birthday girl

Then it was off to Britannia

For more drinks

Mike and the band were rockin

Dean was being Dean(whatever that means)

Tim was visiting trying to get in all the pictures

Some were smoking??????

Tim was still visiting

Looks like someone was getting the wrath of Peggy?

Anyway we had a great time

So it's the next day already

And it's time to start over again
