Happy Anniversary

Yup!

It's Happy Anniversary to me and my better half!

Last night we went for a couple at the "Knot" then came home and harassed the neighbors for a while.We started out drinking outside but we had to move in as it was too dam cold.

Tonite we will celebrate at The Taste of Tuscany restaurant.

Friday

Well here it is Friday again.We get one every week,WoW!
Does that mean I get the next 2 days off?

Peg's been cleaning and sorting and shit and I've been trying to fix all the little shit that comes loose or breaks around here.Also been spending a lot of money.All our insurances and licenses and plates and crap comes due in May

And I bought beer.OMG Free health care my ass!
Stuff is expensive in this country

Yesterday the Kimball's dropped by for a couple but other than that it's been quiet around here.

Back to Normal?

Got the dishwasher and the washing machine fixed.Horray!

Went to the ophthalmologist for tests and yes I have cataracts and need surgery.Right eye scheduled for June and the left one for August if I go to Ft Saskatchewan.Very busy busy.
And of course there are options.Alta Health Care pays for the minimum but the better shit cost $.Should be good for a $2,000.00 hit.

               OK So we went to the gym today.Been a while.Lasted 45 minutes but it's a start.

Then we went to dinner with Jeff and Olivia at The Homefire Bar and Grill in Edmonton

I promised myself I would take pictures and I totally forgot.

What else is new.

Anyway we had a great visit  and Liv is growing like a bad weed,just like the other grand kids

Jeff has grown a little too(Must be trying to look like the old man??)

The highs are 2C/36F and the nights are below freezing

Just Lovely

  Friday we met Dale and Karen at The Celtic Knot for a few then picked up a pizza on the way home

Saturday Peg went shopping with "the girls" while I stayed home and fixed the faucet that was leaking.Then we met at Barry and Jan's for drinks and dinner.Awesome! It was good to see them again and get caught up with shit.

Then we drove home in the blinding snow

This was my view out the door this morning

OMG!

Why oh why did we come back here to this crap?

I think we have to hunt for a different place to spend May

Staying

I guess we will be staying a few days.Settled in to Kinsmen RV Park.

Stuff to get done before we head to Whitecourt

Got the phone,Canadian Satellite and the internet all up and running.
That was a half a day of frustration!

                             

We also returned our E readers which were toast and we have to wait for them to order in new ones.They say a week but we shall see.

Then we got to hit the new Costco in St Albert

That was costly as always

Then Wally's for a bunch more crap and I think the coach is full so no more shopping,except for beer of course.We are a little low on that staple.

We arrived here in St Albert yesterday about 3:30 and the temperature was 25C/77F

Of course the high on the weekend is supposed to be about 4C/35F and SNOW!
And below freezing at night.

Anyway we got cleaned up and headed for Wendy and Jane's "End of tax season party"
