Heading north

Wow! Just a few hours north and the temperature is dropping

We make it to Brigham City in Utah,

Just north of Salt Lake City

It's cold.

Yesterday we had to have the air on and tonite we will need the dam heater

This sucks the big one!

I can see snow.

Time to Head North

Unfortunately the time has come to head north.

Yesterday we stocked up the fridge and made one last trip to the outlet mall.We hit the one in the south side this time.

Last night we went to Romanos Macaroni Grill for dinner then just sat around with Chris for the rest of the night.Got to beat the crack of noon.

What the Hell!

It Rained yesterday

We have not seen any precipitation since Christmas

I guess it's no big deal cause it only rained for a few minutes.However I just had the coach and the car washed.Figures!

Mike and Mandy dropped by to say good-bye as they were heading to Tucson and then on back home to Mexico.I guess we won't catch up to them till November.

Stopped at the Excalibur for a while and dumped some dough.

Then we went to Dick's Last Resort for some food and drink.

That place is always good for a laugh.

                     After that it was over to New York New York where we went to Zumanity.

              It was a good show and of course it was free cause we used our "My Vegas" points.



After the show it was more gambling and thanks to Peg we came out slightly ahead.

Downtown Vegas

We went back downtown where we met up with Mike and Mandy.

There at the Golden Nugget we found a poker tournament.Mandy and I made the final table but got no money.Chris didn't fare too well but Peg got some dough for 4th and Mike chopped for a split of the last 3.

I finally made some money on the slots  and Peg at poker so we came out ahead

Eight Months

Yup! Only 8 months today and it will be Christmas.

Whoopee!

Went shopping for more grub yesterday and then I got the car washed and then Mike and Mandy came by for drinks in the afternoon.

                              Later we BBQ'd some steaks and just sat around outside visiting.

Of course "Boy" was there too!







The good thing about staying home is we didn't lose any $$$$.

More Vegas

We have avoided Circus Circus because of all the kids but I think most went home.

We gambled across the street but decided to head downtown where we had an expensive dinner at The Golden Nugget and pissed our money away after that.What else is new?

Yesterday we headed out to Denny's for breakfast and then we hit The North outlet mall.

It takes all your money too but at least you get something to show for it other then dirty hands.

Shop,Shop,Shop till you Drop,Drop,Drop.

I think I fixed the Generator.It seems to have just needed a whole lot more priming.Whoopee!

Still no dishwasher and no washing machine.

And the tap in the bathroom started leaking again. Shit!

 We are camped here,just like the sign says.

Not a bad view considering where we are.

Again it was a quiet day getting things organized.We did a little grub shopping but in the end the cool ones were calling and they had to be drunk.

We had plans to meet some friends from Mexico for dinner at PF Changs in Planet Hollywood at 8pm but we hit the casino first.

We did meet up in time and I got to take a blurry picture somehow.

Mandy and Mike are from the Britannia in La Cruz

We were celebrating Mike's birthday so a good time was had by all.

After dinner we hit the casino again.

Easter

Easter in Vegas

Busy,Busy,Busy

Saturday we did nothing but putts around the coach.
getting organized and trying to get stuff working.I'm absoulutely amazed at the things that were working fine 5 months ago,just don't work now.

First the coach would not start but 2 new batteries fixed that.

The fresh water tank leaked at the drain valve but after a day with a few opens and shuts it now is fine.

A tap in the main bathroom was leaking all over the counter but after a day it is ok.

All 3 air conditioners stopped working and would not come back on.Fortunately it was bed time and we went to sleep.The next morning one of them worked fine but the other 2 had tripped their breakers so after re-setting they have been working fine.

The dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes.No solution found yet

The washing machine won't let the water in.No solution found yet

The Generator won't stay running-who knows

The GPS is sending us the wrong way??????

Our US internet box wouldn't let us on the internet but once again that was fixed with the almighty $$
I guess you have to pay to play it's not free.

Other than that the weather is sunny and hot and man does the beer taste good and there are lots of them.

It's Easter Sunday.

Lost Wages

We got the coach in for the recall on the steering and headed to Vegas.

Chris was here waiting for us and after having a few we decided to go for a bite.

Since we are staying in the KOA Kampground at Circus Circus we might just as well find a joint in there cause it's close.

There was a new spot Called Vince Neils so we tried that.

Crap! It was just the old Rockin Robins with different decor and a new menu

So much for that.

Remind me to shoot myself if I ever suggest coming to Vegas during a holiday

It's a Zoo

There were more rug rats than adults

Yelling, screaming,slobbering,pushing and shoving and just making a ton of noise

Vegas was better when the Mafia had it cause it was not family oriented with kids

No Kids should be allowed in Sin City

Slack Ass is Back

I haven't been doing the blog cause  when you live in one place for 5 months that has kind of become our home as we do not stay any other place for 5 months during the year.

Our life becomes boring in the fact that we have our routines and I don't want to be like some Facebook dudes that write" I got up this morning and after putting on the coffee I had a large dump which took 6 squares of paper and then just to make sure I did a second wipe.After that I put cream in my coffee and scratched my nuts as I logged on to Facebook to see how many squares everybody else used"

Anyway you know where I'm coming from.

Brother-in-Law John arrived to get some dental work done so we introduced him to our life

Then it was on to the airport and off to Phoenix where the coach did not start.

But nothing that money can not fix.Two new batteries and off we go

I probably missed a lot of shit but I'm getting old.We had a great time in Mexico and were very sad to leave.Just think only a few more months and we get to go back

But now we are going to head for Vegas
